Post-Collision ADAS Calibration
What is ADAS
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) are the safety technologies in your vehicle designed to help monitor the road, surrounding vehicles, and potential hazards.
Using cameras, radar, and other sensors, ADAS systems power features such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and collision warnings.
When these sensors are replaced, disturbed, or affected by windshield replacement, collision repairs, wheel alignment, or suspension work, proper calibration may be required to ensure your vehicle’s safety systems are operating accurately and as intended.

When Does Your Vehicle Need ADAS Calibration?
Windshield Replacement
Many vehicles have cameras mounted behind the windshield. Replacing the glass can affect camera positioning and require recalibration.
Collision or Body Repairs
Even minor collisions can shift sensors or change their alignment. ADAS systems should be checked and calibrated after applicable repairs.
Wheel Alignment or Suspension Work
Changes to the vehicle’s ride height, steering geometry, or alignment can affect how ADAS sensors interpret the road.
Camera or Sensor Replacement
Installing a new camera, radar, or other ADAS component typically requires calibration to ensure it is accurately positioned.
ADAS Warning Lights or Faults
If your vehicle displays an ADAS, collision warning, lane assist, or sensor-related warning, calibration or diagnostic testing may be required.

Module Replacement, Programming & Coding
When a vehicle's control module — such as a camera, radar, or body control module — is replaced, installing the new part is only half the job. Most modern modules must be programmed with the correct manufacturer software and coded to your specific vehicle before they'll function properly.
Programming installs the module's operating software and updates it to the latest version required by the manufacturer. Coding configures that module to communicate correctly with your vehicle's other systems, matching it to your VIN, trim level, and factory-installed options.
Skipping this step can leave warning lights on, disable safety features, or prevent ADAS systems from calibrating at all. We handle module programming and coding alongside our calibration services, so your vehicle's safety systems are fully restored and communicating exactly as the manufacturer intended.
